Bradford
Hi, my name is Claudia. I am the mother of three grown up children and the proud grandmother of one granddaughter. I believe my greatest accomplishment in my life is my family.
I have extensive experience working in various roles in the voluntary and charity sector in Bradford over the last 25 years and I am currently the Director of ACAP the charity which is in its 26th year of operation this year which is a significant achievement in itself.
I hold a Bachelor of Arts (BA) Hons Degree and a Masters Degree (MBA) in Business as well as a range of other qualifications . I am also a Black History teacher having been fortunate enough to be taught to teach this subject by Robin Walker, the Black History Man himself. I am part of a group that teaches Black History and we have taught in Bradford, Leeds, Huddersfield and Manchester for the last 13 years.
When I am not volunteering at ACAP, I am busy managing my businesses. I am a Business Consultant & Coach and operate a Digital marketing Agency. We design websites, develop and design social media branding and marketing campaigns & we also produce videos for marketing products and services for business owners. I also own a Publishing Company and work with clients all across the UK, helping them to get their work into print.
I am extremely excited about hosting the ACAP Windrush Awards and have enjoyed working with such a diverse panel of judges who have each scoured their respective communities looking for those unsung heroes and sheroes, many of whom work tirelessly with little to no recognition and who are each making a significant difference in the community.
