New Opportunity
We Are Looking For a
Community Engagement Worker, Full-Time. (Job share considered)
We are pleased to be recruiting a new member of staff as a much needed community engagement worker. This is a full-time, 3-year contract that is part of the new Ethnically and Culturally Diverse Communities (ECDC) programme. ACAP is working in partnership with Mind in Bradford, Staying Put and others to deliver this new project.
The successful candidate will engage, support and develop the capacity of people from the Black African and Caribbean (predominantly, but not exclusively) communities. The post holder will help to address issues around mental distress, and isolation and promote social inclusion.
You will be based at ACAP but will join a new team of three community engagement workers who will work across Bradford and Craven. To this end, you will occasionally be working from different locations. Job share and hybrid working will be considered.
