ACAP Homework Club provides a quiet, safe and fun environment for students to do their homework with the help of highly qualified tutors and mentors who are there to help and support them. Whilst working with students, we try to embed strong work habits and coping strategies into them like organisational skills, study skills, time management, planner management and stress management.
Parents must register their children onto our programme before they are able to attend. We unfortunately at this time do not operate a drop in service as we only have the capacity for a limited amount of students.
We operate in two hour blocks with a half hour break split into two fifteen-minute mini breaks. Students who finish their homework before the end of the session are able to practice brushing up on other subjects as well as play educational and fun games. Our programme suits students who want to achieve their absolute best and are willing to work very hard to get top grades. A healthy snack is provided for all students.
There are lots of benefits in students attending our Homework Club.
Support with different school subjects
Help students to find their key strengths
Help to build key study skills
Encouragement and motivation to succeed
So what are we aiming to achieve with our Club?
ACAP aims to support students with a strong foundation in the core school subjects. We support and mentor students to give them the skills, confidence and motivation to pursue their goals and dreams with courage and enthusiasm. We have established an atmosphere for comfortable learning while helping students overcome any educational obstacles.
Your support will help us to purchase essential educational resources and equipment we need to change children’s lives. Please tweet, share, or donate to help us in our mission to raise the educational attainment of children and improve the work that we do with parents
