art as therapy

Our arts and crafts sessions are perfect for de-stressing

Arts and Crafts Therapy

Our aim is to give parents support (esepcially those who are socially isolated), friendship and support and also help them to develop some cool art skills. Art is proven to be therapeutic for the mind body and soul and we offer a range of art ‘therapies’ including journaling, batik making, knitting, crochet, sewing, still life drawing, painting and story writing. These highly enjoyable classes are held every Friday and participants get the opportunity to take part in any of the arts.

If you are stressed out and need some light therapy at the end of a busy week and want to join a fun group of people who share similar experiences, join us. ACAP art sessions offer a cheerful, encouraging, & uplifting place for you to explore your creative side.
