Educate, Empower, Achieve

Positively enriching young peoples lives since 1995.

For Young People, By Young People

Engaging young people in activities that they design for themselves.

Our Youth Zone is a place for young people to meet up and make new friends in a safe place

Our learning centre provides a good selection of learning and recreational activities for young people. We offer support in all the key areas ie, Maths, Science, English, Computing and Information Technology and also have an extremely developed sports programme designed to keep young people fit, healthy and active.

We work on the programmes that matter to young people and design and deliver a variety of packages for schools.

ACAP works closely with schools in an inclusive way and strives for high academic achievement for all pupils. We believe in building solid partnerships with young people, their families and schools and working with them on preventative programmes so that problems do not exist in the first place.

ACAP is a Charity based in Bradford

Who We Are

The African Caribbean Achievement Project (ACAP) was set up in 1995 to promote and raise the educational development of people of African & Caribbean descent.

We are an education-based charity that has fought for racial justice and equality in education since we started and continue to do so to this day. We are a volunteer-led service and provide mentoring, advocacy and educational support to young people. We also provide advocacy and support services to parents as well as a range of other activities

Over the years the service has developed to include young people from all sections of the community and not just African and Caribbean young people. Our service is inclusive and we assist all young people to realise their full potential in all areas of their lives. Browse our website to see our active and past projects and contact us if you require any further information.
