Join Our Black History Month Focus Group – October 9th, 2025
Black History Month is a time to reflect, celebrate, and learn — but it’s also about creating space for conversation between young people. What does Black History Month mean to them? That’s why we’re excited to be hosting a special Black History Month–themed focus group on Thursday, 9th October 2025.
This session will bring together community members of all ages and backgrounds to share thoughts, ideas, and experiences in a fun and engaging way.
What to Expect
Our focus group won’t be a formal sit-down chat — instead, we’re making it interactive, relaxed, and thought-provoking. Through guided questions and group activities, we’ll explore:
- The impact of Black history and culture on our everyday lives
- Music, Refreshments, Open discussions
- Light, fun discussion prompts — such as who people would invite to dinner from history, or which music era shaped today’s culture the most
Why It Matters
Your voice matters. By joining the conversation, you’ll be helping to shape the way we celebrate Black History Month in our community now and in the future. It’s a chance to share your perspective, learn from others, and leave inspired.
